As the original publishers of the game quickly dropped support, the game was depending on the community to keep everything alive and happening. We took big part of that by offering many services through the many years.
Our timeline below will give you an insight in what we have done and had to offer.
Please note that some services may no longer be available.
Our timeline
2014
Lobby introduced
After GameSpy dropped support, we created our own (online) lobby. On this page you can browse all online servers (and connect to them) and use the chatbox with several channels under it. Just like GSA.
2014
We offer paid Game Server Hosting
You can now order your professional 24/7 Game Servers directly with us. Patched to run the latest version of the game and NBS-secured. We started hosting public Game Servers again to test and boost the game.
2014
We introduce NBS
We developed and introduced the NBS. Anti-cheating and secured servers are now part of the game again.
2014
Community shutdown
Due to inactivity we shutdown the community part of the website: the forum and profiles. The NFCMD has moved and taken over by the developer of the game updates (patches).
2013
We support Nightfire: Source
A few players came together to start working on a new project, Nightfire: Source. We offer technical support by hosting their community and website.

JBNFL has started
We introduced the all new JBNFL competetive league. Clans and individual players can sign up to play matches against each other.
2013
V3 update
New layout, more game info, new events and more updates covered in this update.
2012
jbnightfire TV
We introduced jbnightfire-TV. On this website managed by us you can add your YouTube-hosted Nightfire videos. It’s a platform where all Nightfire videos are shown in different categories and where players could rate or share your video.
2012
NFCMD released
After the NFBSP shutdown, we created our own map uploading system, NFCMD (NightFire Custom Maps Database).
2011
JBNF Community v1
We launch JBNFCommunity.com, the first community-based forums for Nightfire after the closure of OO9. Unfortunately it was hacked and therefore shutdown and we later introduced Community V2 on our main website with a better forum solution.
2008
Launch
This website was first launched. Our mission was to inform new players about how to play and show off everything the game had to offer.
